Parachromis dovii, the guapote, rainbow bass, or wolf cichlid, is a species of cichlid native to Central America where it occurs on the slopes of Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It grows to a length of 72 cm (28.3 in) TL, and it is important to local commercial fisheries and is sought after as a gamefish.
